Sarah Baldock is currently on the staff at The Cheltenham Ladies’ College, teaching academic music and working as College Organist and as one of the piano accompanists. From 2008-2014 she was Organist and Master of the Choristers at Chichester Cathedral, and prior to Chichester she was Assistant Director of Music at Winchester Cathedral. She founded the Winchester Cathedral Girls’ Choir and was its Director from 1998-2008. Sarah has led choral workshops in the UK, USA, Norway and Sweden and has been a regular director at the Girl Chorister Course at St Thomas Fifth Avenue, New York. This year her choral directing takes her to Lexington, Kentucky.

Giving organ concerts remains a passion and in addition to solo recitals, Sarah enjoys collaborating with other artists. She gave the première of David Owen Norris’ HengeMusic for saxophone quartet and organ and initiated a project with artist Sophie Hacker based on Messiaen’s La Nativité which led to a book entitled Icons of the Incarnation, and an exhibition which has toured the UK. She is a frequent visiting tutor at courses and seminars and takes great delight in encouraging the next generation of organists and choir directors.
